A shortened link only reveals its place if Google is asked to follow it.
Look the place up in Apple Maps?
On, you get the full place card. Off, it opens the exact point from the link.
Remember places on this device?
Off by default. If you turn it on, places stay on this iPhone for 7 or 30 days, and one switch deletes them.
